Eliza is not your average eye care professional. With a unique skillset as a qualified Optometrist and a passion for rural life, she brings a fresh perspective to eye health in her local community.

She holds a Master of Optometry, Ocular Therapeutic qualifications, and an Advanced Certificate in Children's Vision. She has experience working alongside ophthalmologists and a keen interest in ocular pathology, founding Whiteley Optometry to provide personalised, preventative eye care for the community. Eliza is also dedicated to educating and encouraging future healthcare professionals to practice regionally, regularly presenting to Deakin Optometry students and first-year medical students at Sydney University’s School of Rural Health.

Beyond the Exam Room

When she's not helping patients maintain their eye health, Eliza enjoys working with her family at their Santa Gertrudis stud, Glenalbyn and participating in local hockey and touch football competitions.

Frame Stylist & Administration

Alison brings a wealth of experience from her strong background in optics to our practice. With her keen eye for detail and passion for precision, Alison excels in managing our front desk operations and coordinating administrative tasks.

Beyond her professional dedication, Alison values her friends and family, balancing her work life with personal relationships. Her infectious sense of humor and positive attitude create a welcoming atmosphere for both patients and colleagues, making every day in the practice brighter.

Optical Dispenser

Nicci is a qualified optical dispenser with 18 years experience in the optical world. Nicci is known for her warm personality and keen ability to find solutions, ensuring that each patient leaves with spectacles that not only enhance their vision but also suit their unique style and needs.

A dedicated mother to two spirited young daughters, she balances her passion for crochet with the joys of family life and cherished moments with friends.
